September is a landmark month because three greats have their birthdays: moi and Salma Hayek. September was supposed to be a build month for us as we focused on developing act 2, with no campaigns planned. So, it was a pleasant surprise to see an organic 23x increase in Garden's volume, leading us to cross all sorts of milestones.

We hit $800M in volume this month, quite wild considering we were just a hackathon project a calendar turn ago!

Big Items

• Garden has partnered with dlcBTC, a BTC variant secured by Bitcoin L1, to become the sole bridge to swap BTC <> dlcBTC.
• We partnered with the molandaks down at Monad run club to preach degens to spend less time bridging and more time running at Token 2049. We covered the run in this vvvvv aesthetic video. Where should we run next? 

Technical Updates

• More than 90% of web3 developers know very little about building for BTCFi. We went through a lot of struggles while developing Garden and we want to give back by building open-source tools BTCFi developers. First of which is a Bitcoin Testnet Faucet, giving developers easier access to testnet bitcoin and related assets. We are actively working on adding more BTCFi assets here to make it a versatile tool.
• Act 2 development is prime focus right now and it will mark Garden’s arrival in the bitcoin bridging scene. Many Bitcoin traders still choose centralized exchanges for better liquidity, speed, and UX. Act 2 will take Garden closer to that experience. Here’s a sneak peek of what’s brewing.

• Training wheels are completely off on Garden now as we removed initial swap limits.

• Dude working on the BTCFi arc for Garden by joining an AMA session hosted by Swell, alongside other projects in the BTCFi space, including Build on Bitcoin and Avalon Labs.
• Season 3 rewards were released on September 13th. 260 users received a total of 692,394 in SEED rewards. Rewards can be claimed on the stake page.
