The festivities have settled, and the harvest has ended — thus giving, quite a pleasing end to Season 2 at Garden!

With Season 2, we went in head first looking to improve a ton of aspects in our product — right from introducing a fillers update that allowed any number of orders to be batched into a single block, and hence giving super high bridging speeds with 0 to no time spent in counter-party deposit waiting.

Among other things like — moving the town hall to Discord, kickstarting our chief gardener program, and getting us a new name; a ton has happened this season!

Some exclusive gifts

Similar to Season 1, all winners of Season 2 will receive an exclusive hand drawn NFT. While beautiful in themselves, these NFTs are not just ornamental. Each of the NFTs is created by burning 21000 $SEED from the season allocation. The NFTs have significant value in staking and governance (in the future) as they value for 70 delegate votes (10 delegate stakes and 7x multiplier for burning).

Volume

Let's take a look at how the volume running through the system has increased since the season started.

Relative to Season 1, we’ve grown our total season volume by about 300%, capping off at about $553M at the end of the Season 2 harvest.

That same multiple of about over 3x applies to our daily average volume at Garden as well — needless to say, quite an action-packed Season 2.

What’s next?

We have decided to take some time before we head into Season 3 — and will have the much-awaited $SEED staking launching soon, post which, all Season 2 gardeners will be able to claim their $SEED.

Needless to say, we are working on a bunch of interesting things in the background — from new chains to new assets, new partnerships, and more!
