TL;DR: Discover how to trustlessly bridge assets from Ethereum to Solana in our comprehensive guide.
Looking for a DEX to swap your assets from Ethereum to Solana or vice versa? This guide walks you through the step-by-step process using Garden’s decentralized bridge.
Cross-chain interoperability has become essential as DeFi expands across multiple blockchains. Users need reliable ways to move assets between networks without sacrificing security or control.
Ethereum and Solana serve different purposes in the DeFi ecosystem. Ethereum offers the most established DeFi protocols and deepest liquidity, while Solana provides high-speed transactions at a fraction of the cost. By bridging assets between these networks, you can:
When you need to swap ETH to SOL, Garden makes the process straightforward:
The entire process utilizes atomic swaps, meaning the exchange either completes fully or reverts entirely.
Bridging back from Solana to Ethereum follows a similar pattern. Here's how to move USDC:
Garden is the fastest bitcoin bridge, enabling cross-chain swaps across chains in as little as 30 seconds through an intent-based architecture with trustless settlements and zero custody risk.
Here's how it works: when you initiate a swap, you deposit your asset into a Hash Time-Locked Contract (HTLC) on the source chain, while a Market Maker simultaneously deposits the corresponding asset into an HTLC on the destination chain. The settlement happens completely peer-to-peer. If you claim the assets on the destination chain by revealing the cryptographic secret, the Market Maker automatically receives your deposited assets on the source chain.
This non-custodial design means neither Garden nor any intermediary ever holds your assets, eliminating traditional bridge risks like hacks, rug pulls, or wrapped token failures while delivering the fastest settlement times in cross-chain DeFi.
Garden only processes your deposit once a matching order is found. If the user doesn’t initiate the transaction, or if it isn't confirmed within an hour of order creation, the transaction is automatically canceled and the deposit is instantly refunded.
Currently: ETH, WBTC, USDC, and cbBTC on Ethereum; SOL, USDC, and cbBTC on Solana. We're actively working to add more assets based on user demand.
Yes. Beyond Ethereum and Solana, Garden supports Bitcoin, Arbitrum, HyperEVM, Unichain, BNB Chain, and a few other chains. Each integration maintains the same atomic swap security model.
No. Garden enables peer-to-peer, trustless swaps via HTLCs. Users and market makers lock assets on their respective chains, and funds are only released if both parties fulfill their part. If not, both get their assets back automatically, no intermediaries or custodians involved.
Most swaps complete within 30seconds to 10 minutes max, depending on network congestion.
Yes. Swaps on Garden are atomic; either the swap is fully completed, or you receive your asset back. Our smart contracts have undergone multiple security audits from Zellic, Trail of Bits, and Ottersec.
